<title>Tara Deal Author Site: Found Poem of the Week</title>
    <link>http://www.taradeal.com/pow.html</link>
<description>A found poem, generally, is created by taking a snippet of text that already exists in the world and manipulating it (adding line breaks, rearranging phrases, etc.) in order to form something new. In my found poems, the only thing I do to the text is add line breaks because I like to keep the idea of the &quot;original&quot; intact. These are words that lead a double life, doing their boring day job, but also, when put into the spotlight, causing some surprise. Maybe applause.</description>
